Volunteers       

ABROAD:
To achieve its mission, BE KIDS needs help from dedicated people in Australia and around the world.  We are looking for inspired individuals who will donate their time to help promote the organisation’s work and raise funds.  We are also looking for special volunteers to take part in projects by living with local communities and sharing knowledge and skills.

There are many opportunities to make a difference, so let us know how you would like to be involved. 

In order to take part in a project, volunteers should contact BE Kids at least 6 months in advance and will need to meet our assessment criteria.  Matters for consideration will be the type of project, the number of people, seasons, school terms and accommodation availability.

Please note that volunteers are responsible for all costs of travel, insurance, lodging and materials for their planned project. 


AT HOME:
Each project undertaken by BE KIDS depends on fund-raising for its successful implementation.  BE KIDS members are at the very heart of our fund-raising endeavours.

We need volunteers to take part in our fund-raising events in Australia – our annual Gala Dinner Dance and our annual Be Kids Community Fair.  We also encourage you to organise fund-raising activities among your friends or at work and name BE KIDS as your beneficiary wherever you live.

You can also volunteer your time by selling merchandise made by our members or communities in which we work.
